Hope wakes up and goes to the beach to read. Meanwhile, another girl named Ky heads to a Florida beach to swim, but gets caught in a storm. A hand drags Hope into the water, and she swims her way to a strange pool, where Ky suddenly appears. They talk, realizing they're from the same town, and then both disappear. The next day, Hope takes a bath and Ky goes for a swim, and they both pop tails.
